PB Dela Cruz reported his 120-day accomplishments and his future plans for the rest of his first term as village chief.
This is pursuant to Proclamation no. 260 dated September 30, 2011 which declares the last Saturday of March and the second Sunday of October as Barangay Assembly Days.
Officials of the Municipal Government of Orani led by Mayor Efren Pascual Jr., provincial and municipal DILG officials, the Provincial Government of Bataan represented by Board Member Rey Ibe, Bataan PPO Provincial Director Senior Supt. Marcelo Dayag, Balanga Police Chief, Police Supt. Byron Allatog, Econest WMC President Atty. Beulah Coeli Fiel and Bataan First District Rep. Geraldine B. Roman graced the event.
During the event, DILG Region 3 officials praised Dela Cruz for his exemplary accomplishments namely the strict enforcement of drive against illegal drugs, no smoking, no drinking along the streetsides and the no illegal parking ordinance that inspired other barangays not just in his town but the whole province as well.
Bataan Police Director, Senior Supt. Dayag also reported that within the year, Mulawin will be declared by PDEA as a drug-free barangay.
Meanwhile, Congresswoman Roman pledged P5 million to finance the construction of the New Barangay Hall of Mulawin.
“Bagamat bago po tayo sa panunungkulan bilang lingkod bayan sa Barangay na ito umaasa kami na aming naipadama sa inyo ang mas epektibong pamamahala para sa mas mapayapa, mas maayos at mas maunlad na barangay,” PB Dela Cruz stressed.
